Hamza Labs Weekly Map Update: June 22–28, 2025

June 23, 2025

This past week at Hamza Labs, we’ve continued to build on recent progress with a mix of live feature launches, marketing momentum, and backend cleanups. With Bitcoin payments now active, we’re focusing on fine-tuning user experience and laying the groundwork for community and campaign expansion. Let’s walk through the latest updates across the platform.

Cross-Chain & Bitcoin Payments

The dev team released version 1.3.3, marking another milestone for crypto usability on Hamza. Bitcoin is now officially a selectable currency at checkout, and for the first time, users can choose their currency without needing to log in—removing an important friction point. Additionally, a payment cancellation feature has been developed (though not yet released), providing greater control over transactions. No obstacles were encountered, and while no major new features are planned in the short term, the team will continue rolling out small improvements over the next few weeks.

Discount Codes

Discount codes have reached the testing stage and are close to functional deployment. However, a live use case—such as an affiliate partner—is needed to validate its utility in the wild. A final necessary feature is being added and is scheduled for early next week, after which the feature can be actively used to incentivize purchases and seller promotions.

Seller Onboarding – Dev Team

No new development work was required this week on seller onboarding, as the system is considered nearly complete. All that remains is onboarding one more seller to fully test and transition this module into long-term maintenance. Once that happens, the flow will be formally closed as ready.

Homepage Improvement

Work on homepage enhancements officially began, with Chris leading the front-end implementation of Luciano’s designs. The improvements are on a two-week sprint with a release target set for July 1. This redesign aims to improve both the visual hierarchy and user journey, helping users discover and purchase products more intuitively.

HNS Chat

There was no movement this week on the HNS Chat system, but internal planning is still underway. The goal is to begin onboarding sellers into the branded chat system by July 1, enabling more decentralized, identity-based interaction directly on the platform.

Seller Onboarding – Customer Support

Jose successfully onboarded Global From Asia, who is now live on the platform. No issues or blockers were reported, and support is standing by for the next wave of sellers. With both GFA and The Living Crystal active, the onboarding workflow is becoming smoother and more predictable.

Venezuela Campaign

No new updates were reported on the Venezuela campaign this week. While foundational work has been set in previous weeks, future plans for improving market penetration may hinge on a more active content and ad strategy—especially in a region where crypto use is rising but visibility remains limited.

Decom Talks (YouTube & Twitter Spaces)

Jose continued building out content for the Hamza ecosystem with a new 6-minute YouTube video titled “What Will Happen When Bitcoin Hits $1 Million?”, along with an engaging YouTube Short that complements it. Both are now live on the channel. Additionally, a Web3 Samurai-themed Short was briefly posted but taken down out of caution due to potential copyright concerns. A revised version is being edited and will be republished next week.

Investment Search

Mike progressed to the final round of discussions with the W3BX Incubator in Vietnam and is currently awaiting their reply. He also engaged in new advisory discussions around defining a refined role at Hamza to support product-market fit, and shared insights during a talk with the RektSurvivor group on Friday. The investment arm continues to gain traction, aligning strategic funding with operational priorities.

Dealmaker

No movement was made this week on the Dealmaker project, which has been placed on temporary hold. This track may resume once priority features and community growth strategies are further along.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition / Management

Anne’s growth initiatives delivered meaningful results this week, particularly through the publication of the blog post How Decentralized E-Commerce Ships, which led to a 65% increase in user acquisition (364 users). The article was paired with an email campaign introducing new sellers like The Living Crystal and Global From Asia.

Most of the social traffic came organically from X, Facebook, and Instagram. Meanwhile, Hamza’s X Ads account is still undergoing verification in the Shadstone Ads group. Anne is building campaigns on Zealy to grow community engagement.

SEO Improvement

SEO work led by Chris Li has now entered maintenance mode. Core technical enhancements, including schema implementation and sitemap improvements, have been completed. Any future additions or changes will be handled as needed. With the foundation in place, ongoing SEO benefits should begin compounding in the weeks ahead.

Conclusion

The week of June 22–28 brought visible growth in product maturity, community content, and acquisition performance. With Bitcoin payments live, discount tools nearly ready, and traffic increasing through organic channels, Hamza is entering a stage of steady momentum. The focus ahead remains on fine-tuning UX, activating incentive-driven campaigns, and amplifying our story to both crypto-native and mainstream audiences. ⛵
