This week, the Hamza team focused on refining the gift card system, onboarding new sellers, producing social media content, and preparing materials for upcoming presentations. The emphasis was on smoothing internal processes, improving trust with users, and getting ready for future campaigns.

GiftCard Promotion

This week, the gift card efforts were low key, focused on small bug fixes. The team is automating processes where possible and planning another email blast for Friday, September 26.

Seller Onboarding – CS

Two new sellers were onboarded this week, including the Dai Ling Na store. Some sellers remain less responsive, but promotion plans for Dai Ling Na are underway to help increase visibility and engagement.

Social Media Podcasts/Videos

A new video highlighting trust and transparency on the Hamza platform was created and published: Watch here. This content aims to build confidence among potential buyers and sellers.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition/Management

No active campaigns ran this week, but the team reviewed the performance of the 9.9 email campaign and prepared content with multiple angles for upcoming campaigns. A media kit for new sellers is in progress, with discussions planned about potential discount events to drive engagement.

Strategic Partnership Prep

This week, the team finalized and polished content for an important upcoming partner presentation. Despite a few minor hurdles with availability and responses, the slides are nearly ready, and scheduling will be confirmed shortly.

Conclusion

This week emphasized preparation and refinement. Gift card processes are being optimized, new sellers are being onboarded, trust-focused social content was produced, and key presentation materials are nearly ready. These steps set the stage for a stronger campaign push in the coming weeks.

This week, the Hamza team focused on optimizing email campaigns, onboarding new sellers, and preparing for future promotional pushes. Efforts centered on identifying bugs, improving manual processes, and expanding content strategies to bring more buyers and sellers to the platform.

GiftCard Promotion

Another email campaign went out this week, bringing in a few more orders while successfully attracting new users to the site—showing that email remains a viable growth tactic. The campaign also revealed a list of potential bugs to fix and highlighted manual processes that can now be automated.

Next Steps:

  • Bug fixes are scheduled for the week of September 15.
  • Automation improvements will follow during the week of September 22.

Seller Onboarding – CS

Two new sellers are being onboarded manually. Additionally, a new I Ching consultation service has been created on Hamza, including both a store and product page:

Testing of this new store and product is planned for this week to ensure smooth operations.

Social Media Podcasts/Videos

A new “Bring Down the House” promo video was released for the 9.9 campaign: Watch here.

Once the Dai Ling Na store testing is complete, promotional content related to it will begin rolling out to drive engagement and sales.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition/Management

The 9.9 shopping day promo email was sent and also shared on social media resulting in multiple buyers for the week, including repeat/loyal customers.

Other activities included proofreading articles for publishing and revamping the social content calendar to align with ongoing campaigns.

Upcoming Focus:

  • Prepare a media kit for new sellers to streamline onboarding as more sellers join.

Conclusion

This week saw continued progress in growing Hamza’s ecosystem. Email campaigns are proving effective in driving traffic and highlighting areas for improvement, while seller onboarding efforts expand the platform’s offerings. With bug fixes and automation improvements planned for the coming weeks, Hamza is well-positioned to scale efficiently while providing a smoother experience for buyers and sellers alike.

This week focused on refining email strategies to improve campaign performance, creating educational content for the Venezuelan community, and preparing for upcoming promotions like the 9.9 sale. While technical development was quiet, efforts continue to expand awareness and reduce barriers for new users.

Gift Card Promotion

No technical work was done this week. There are some issues with EUR-denominated gift cards under review, though they may not turn out to be actual blockers. The timeline for resolution remains uncertain.

Social Media Podcasts/Videos

A Spanish-language video was posted on YouTube explaining why Venezuelans can benefit from buying Amazon gift cards with crypto through Hamza:
Watch the video here.

Discussions around the Criptopanas initiative continued, an educational project aimed at teaching people how to use cryptocurrencies and related tools, including Hamza. This project is designed to lower barriers for new users, making it easier for the general public to adopt crypto-powered shopping. Efforts also included community outreach, with direct conversations held with neighbors, friends, and acquaintances to raise awareness.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition/Management

Progress this week included:

  • Working with the GFA team to update Cross Border Summit ticket pricing.
  • Drafting a 9.9 promotional email, with a continued focus on gift card sales.
  • Testing different email send-outs to reduce the likelihood of emails being flagged as spam.

Conclusion
Hamza made steady progress in content creation, community outreach, and campaign preparation this week. While technical updates were minimal, important groundwork was laid for broader engagement and improved marketing performance in the weeks ahead.

This week, Hamza focused on improving email deliverability, expanding educational outreach, and exploring new opportunities to grow the seller network. While sales continue steadily, some challenges with email spam filtering surfaced, prompting immediate action.

Gift Card Promotion

Gift card sales continue at a steady pace, though without a visible spike in growth. There are signs that campaign emails may be getting marked as spam, requiring investigation and corrective action to improve deliverability. The timeline for resolving this issue is still being determined.

Seller Onboarding

A campaign kicked off this week as part of an initiative led by Mark K. This effort could open the door to new partnerships and opportunities. A PowerPoint presentation is planned for next week to support this outreach.

Social Media Podcasts/Videos

The Spanish translation of the “How to Pay on Hamza from an External Wallet” video has been completed, but final voiceover files are still pending.

Additionally, plans are underway for an in-person course aimed at teaching the fundamentals of crypto to a Venezuelan audience. The course will focus on financial freedom and self-sovereignty, covering topics like Bitcoin as a savings technology, wallet and exchange use, and of course, buying through Hamza. The tentative name for this project is “Criptopanas” (Venezuelan slang for “crypto buddies”).

As with the gift card campaign, there is a risk that emails related to Criptopanas may also be flagged as spam, which will require attention.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition/Management

An investigation into emails being marked as spam was completed. The first corrective step is to minimize the number of clickable links in outgoing messages.

The team is monitoring three ongoing email campaigns for conversion performance and will assign unique discount codes per email list to better track results. Collaboration with Jose is underway to determine how best to utilize his email list for future campaigns.

Conclusion
Hamza made steady progress in email strategy refinement, educational outreach planning, and seller acquisition initiatives this week. Addressing email deliverability challenges will be key to unlocking stronger campaign performance and driving higher growth moving forward.

Gift Card Promotion

The team analyzed and began planning for the import of EUR-denominated gift cards, which will almost triple the current gift card inventory. No obstacles have been reported, and implementation and testing are pending. The first EUR gift cards are expected to roll out next week.

Social Media Podcasts/Videos

A new YouTube tutorial video was published titled “How to pay on Hamza from an external crypto wallet, with Bitcoin, or from a crypto exchange.” This video demonstrates how to complete a purchase using crypto held on an exchange, addressing common user concerns and reducing friction in the checkout process.

Watch here: https://youtu.be/qtmpLDt2-TU
The video will also be translated into Spanish to better target the Latin American community.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition/Management

The team launched a new email series for registered users, with two versions: one in English and another in Spanish. Short video content promoting the 10% discount campaign is now ready for widespread posting across social platforms. Additionally, research is underway to strengthen and expand the email list.

This week, focus areas include restarting seller invitations to list on the site, launching a Venezuelan email series led by Jose to grow the Spanish-speaking audience, and exploring ways to promote email signups.

Conclusion
Hamza made meaningful progress in scaling up its gift card inventory, creating educational content to improve conversions, and expanding marketing outreach through multilingual campaigns. These initiatives position the platform for stronger growth and broader community engagement in the weeks ahead.

This week the team continued driving gift card sales, releasing bug fixes, creating new outreach materials, and building momentum for ongoing marketing and partnership efforts.

Gift Card Promotion
Gift card sales continued to grow, and bug fixes (release version 1.4.3) were deployed. There are no known obstacles and nothing new scheduled at the moment.

Social Media Podcasts/Videos
New flyers were created with the message: “Would you like to buy on Amazon with no bank account and with a 10% discount?” These are designed to guide non-crypto users on how to take advantage of Hamza’s offerings.

Investment Search
A lead for a VC came in and is pending follow-up.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition/Management
The team sent out Hamza26 campaign email no. 2. They are sharing the discount with some web3 contacts and updating creatives for the ongoing gift card campaign.

This week, efforts include crafting a different version of the Hamza26 email for registered Hamza.market users (avoiding duplicate recipients), and adding the team to the Global From Asia store (and Snapchum) to update pricing and promote Hamza at the Cross Border Summit event (including ticket purchases through Hamza).

The focus for the week was on driving sales, improving marketing outreach, and exploring new partnership leads. With ongoing campaign refinements and promotional efforts, Hamza continues building awareness and adoption.

A new bug fix release is scheduled.

Social Media Podcasts/Videos
A new video featuring the Kung Fu Hamza character as the Girl from Ipanema is ready to be released.

Educational videos showing how to pay with crypto from Binance are planned for release next week.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition/Management

Gift Card Promotion

The final launch is set for this week, with the team making some final tweaks before going live. These include fixing a possible email bug, addressing knowledge gaps for Binance users, and ensuring a smooth Ready Cash Card experience.

The team is preparing PR-oriented marketing to secure “trust signals” like recognizable brand logos. Registration on PR platforms such as Hackernoon has begun, alongside an ongoing guerrilla marketing push.

This week, efforts are focused on outbound communications highlighting different gift card angles, sending an open email with an additional discount and survey, and testing gift card ads on X and Meta through personal and Shadstone accounts. The team is also studying Reddit ads for broader reach.

This week’s focus is on driving the gift card promotion, pushing creative video content, and engaging potential sellers. Core site features like the homepage and frictionless checkout remain in good shape, allowing the team to put most of its energy into user acquisition and community outreach.

Gift Card Promotion

The gift card promotion is in full swing, with emails, social media posts, and guerrilla marketing efforts live. Jose is actively recruiting members of the Venezuelan Hamza community to help spread the word. All tech prerequisites are in place, and engagement is building—though some post comments are being removed on certain platforms.

Homepage Improvement

The new homepage is live and stable, now in maintenance mode. Only small bug fixes are expected as more users interact with the updated layout.

Frictionless Checkout

The frictionless checkout feature is fully deployed, offering a faster and more intuitive buying experience. Like the homepage, it’s in maintenance mode for any fine-tuning as usage grows.

Social Media Podcasts & Videos

Jose released English and Spanish versions of a new Kung Fu Hamza episode announcing the gift card discount. This installment introduces Kung Fu Hamza’s husband, Summin Wong (Tai LinPiao in Spanish, meaning “he’s rekt” as a shitcoiner), who trades his coins for discounted gift cards.

🎥 Watch the episodes:

He’s also experimenting with new short-form video styles, like this YouTube Short, to see what resonates best across platforms.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition / Management

Anne is engaging new seller prospects, including MigsMachine for web3/crypto-themed merch and a Korean toy seller considering crypto payments. She published the second gift card blog, sent the first gift card promo email, and is continuing to comment on relevant threads across Reddit, X, and other platforms.

Her outreach includes target lists for web3/crypto HR teams and CEOs for a “Gift Your Team” angle, plus identifying X Spaces opportunities for guest appearances.

Conclusion

With the gift card promotion at center stage, the team is pushing content and outreach hard while maintaining recent feature releases. This week’s work keeps the focus squarely on bringing in new buyers and sellers, and turning growing awareness into real activity on Hamza.

In Week 76, the Hamza team keeps momentum going as we shift from building features to bringing in users and sellers. With frictionless checkout launching, new landing pages going live, and our gift card campaign strategy unfolding, we’re turning product readiness into growth opportunities. Here’s what’s happening across the projects this week:

Seller Onboarding (Dev Team)

The dev team has removed the whitelist requirement for seller onboarding, making it easier for anyone to start selling on Hamza.

Gift Card Promotion

Jose and John have finalized the target lists for the gift card promotion and set a working plan in motion. Technical hurdles that came up are quickly resolved, allowing us to move forward with direct outreach and content promotion. The next step is executing on the lists and starting campaign activities.

Pitch Deck Revamp

The pitch deck update (Phase 1) is complete, with fresh messaging and visuals aligned to Hamza’s current product and positioning. Phase 2 is set to begin soon, though it is on lower priority as we focus on active campaigns and onboarding.

Homepage Improvement

The Seller Landing Page and Gift Card Landing Page are both set to go live, and the How It Works page is nearly finished. Deployment is scheduled for July 14, helping make Hamza easier to understand for both new buyers and sellers.

Frictionless Checkout

The dev team has finished and tested the new frictionless checkout. The updated flow removes unnecessary steps and allows faster purchases, especially for crypto buyers. Deployment is also set for July 14.

Seller Onboarding (Customer Support)

Jose is actively engaging with a local cell phone seller in Venezuela, explaining how Hamza works and preparing them to set up their store after some test purchases. This seller will use the new onboarding system with Jose’s guidance.

Decom Talks (YouTube & Twitter Spaces)

Jose has published a new YouTube Short, Become a Hamza Seller, as part of the Adventures of Kung Fu Hamza series. It’s the first video fully created using Google Flow AI. To help with organic reach, the team and community members are encouraged to create playlists on their personal YouTube channels featuring Hamza videos, improving SEO and visibility.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition / Management

The email capture pop-up on the Hamza blog site has been added and Shadstone with Anne is working on short-form image and video content to guide new buyers and sellers. Blog posts and emails are drafted to match the upcoming product releases, including the gift card push and frictionless checkout. She’s also engaging on Reddit to build awareness about decentralized e-commerce and is preparing a social media performance report for the team.

Conclusion

Week 76 marks a shift from product delivery to market activation. With new landing pages, a smoother checkout, and a targeted gift card campaign coming together, Hamza is preparing to onboard the next wave of buyers and sellers. Our focus this week remains on community outreach, seller support, and building momentum for decentralized commerce.

The Hamza team shifted gears from tool-building to campaign prep—transforming backend readiness into real outreach and content work. With the homepage launch behind us and discount codes in place, we focused on frictionless checkout development, gift card targeting, and creative storytelling across YouTube and beyond. Here’s what’s moving across the board this week.

Gift Card Promotion

Jose and John finalized Phase 1 of the gift card campaign by drafting a plan of attack and compiling initial target lists. These lists are ready with further discussions scheduled to determine next steps. The campaign is now poised to begin outreach and content activation.

Pitch Deck Revamp

Mike and John made significant progress on the Hamza pitch deck, finding the most recent Figma version and completing Level 1 updates. This refreshed version set the stage for a tighter, clearer narrative aimed at partners and advisors. Level 2 updates were slated to continue after this current week.

Homepage Improvement

Following the homepage relaunch, Chris continued development on product subcategories and a new landing page experience. These upgrades aimed to improve content navigation and product discovery for users. Both subcategories and the landing page were expected to see continued work into the following sprint.

Frictionless Checkout

While initial frontend complexities caused a slight delay, the project has now been bumped to completion, and testing has been officially scheduled. This feature brings us one step closer to a smoother, faster purchase flow—especially for crypto buyers.

Seller Onboarding – Customer Support

Jose engaged with two potential candidates from the Venezuela community, encouraging them to begin self-onboarding with his support. This approach, if successful, may help streamline onboarding in decentralized communities moving forward.

Decom Talks (YouTube & Twitter Spaces)

Jose published three YouTube Shorts as part of Decom Talks’ ongoing content experiments.

  • The “Hamza Auctioneers” video used price calls to showcase product variety.
  • “Become a Web3 Samurai” was re-released after a copyright-safe edit to emphasize privacy and no-KYC values.
  • On July 4, “Web3 Revolutionary” tied U.S. Independence Day to a playful riff on Indonesian pop culture to celebrate decentralized freedom.

While these videos aimed to boost awareness and resonance, there were some signs of throttling on YouTube Shorts—something the team will monitor closely.

Investment Search

Mike held calls with two groups, including coin listing representatives and a Singapore-based contact who expressed interest in advising Hamza. While they noted that VC activity remains slow, the conversations reinforced the value of continuing to build out product-market fit while staying on the radar of long-term partners.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition / Management

Anne concentrated on the gift card campaign foundation last week. She added email capture to the blog, published the post Can We Do Dropshipping on Hamza?, and drafted email content for another gift card push. She also began gathering strategic input from Web3 peers on where to reach the right audience. Preparations for Phase 1 of the campaign is in the works.

Conclusion

Last week marked a turning point from internal tooling to outward activation. With creative content flowing, new campaign groundwork being laid, and the product experience continuing to evolve, Hamza is building toward its next wave of growth. While some timelines shifted, the direction remains clear: simplify the experience, tell the story boldly, and connect with real buyers—on-chain and off-grid.

This week, we continued to focus on converting key features into live campaigns, with gift cards taking center stage. While some items remained in UAT and planning, we saw solid momentum in content creation, homepage improvements, and our push into community growth channels. Here’s everything that moved across the board.

Discount Codes (in UAT)

The discount codes feature is now fully tested and ready for real-world use. No obstacles remain, and we plan to activate it next week as part of the upcoming gift card promotions. This will be our first live use case and an exciting test of both backend functionality and frontend engagement strategies.

Seller Onboarding (in UAT)

Seller onboarding on the dev side remains in a holding pattern, simply waiting for a new seller to test the system with. While no new development progress was made this week, the system is stable and ready once a seller is available to onboard.

Gift Card Promotion (New)

Jose and John kicked off the planning phase for Hamza’s first gift card promotion campaign. Several technical hurdles were identified early on—such as linking front-end awareness with our new payments and discounts—but solutions are now underway. One blocker was acquiring a credit card to promote the campaign on YouTube, which was resolved this week. Efforts are now shifting toward “recon” work: figuring out where gift card buyers are most likely to be found online, with more insights expected next week.

Pitch Deck Revamp

Mike and John began revamping Hamza’s pitch deck, aiming to tighten messaging, visual clarity, and alignment with investor expectations. The first phase of the new deck is ready to present, and a meeting is scheduled this week to review and refine.

Homepage Improvement

Our homepage revamp is nearly complete. Chris reported that most of the work is done and the redesigned experience is on track to launch this weekend. The new layout will improve product discovery, user trust, and overall aesthetics—an essential upgrade as we prepare for higher traffic from promotions and SEO.

Frictionless Checkout (New)

A new initiative to create a frictionless checkout flow was introduced this week. The dev team has completed early planning and addressed the primary technical hurdles. Development is scheduled to begin next week. Once launched, this improvement will make it easier for users to check out without login or complex steps, especially for crypto payments.

HNS Chat

There was no new progress on HNS Chat this week. The project remains on pause for now while other seller-facing tools are prioritized. Once other onboarding features are solidified, work here is expected to resume.

Seller Onboarding – Customer Support

No sellers were onboarded this week by the CS team. Jose noted that no new seller applications were in queue, so support will resume onboarding as soon as the next opportunity arises.

Decom Talks (YouTube & Twitter Spaces)

Jose published two new YouTube Shorts this week as part of ongoing Decom Talks content testing. The first video leveraged a current event—“War or Sanctions Won’t Stop THIS Marketplace”—to connect Hamza with trending discussions. The second was more product-focused, featuring an auctioneer-style format showing various Hamza items and their prices, intended to increase product visibility. Separately, Anne began running YouTube promotions with the “Kung Fu Hamza” video, but the campaign was flagged by YouTube’s ad system due to crypto-related policy sensitivity. As a result, we’re learning more about how to shape content that aligns with platform guidelines moving forward. Next week, the focus will shift to creating videos that support the gift card promotion launch.

Investment Search

Mike connected with a Singapore-based firm that specializes in helping Web3 startups access grant opportunities. A follow-up call is scheduled for Wednesday. This outreach continues to build our long-term runway while aligning our messaging with the needs of potential funders.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition / Management

Anne launched a multi-pronged push to prepare the user base for our gift card promo campaign. She published a new blog post, Buy Gift Cards with Crypto, and sent out an email newsletter introducing the feature. The post also promoted our newest sellers—The Living Crystal and Global From Asia. Organic traffic came from X, Facebook, and Instagram. Additionally, Anne initiated a small follower boost on YouTube and X to help early content appear more active. She also reached out to Erwin from Handshake Australia about running a gift card giveaway during an upcoming Handshake Mastermind space. Finally, a Zealy account was created to support community engagement. Anne and Mike are both familiar with the platform (formerly Crew3), which is popular among Web3 communities. They’re now evaluating the premium plans as a potential workaround to restrictive ad policies and a platform for incentive-based growth.

Conclusion

As July begins, the Hamza team is zeroing in on campaign-readiness. Discount codes and homepage upgrades are in place, frictionless checkout is on the horizon, and our gift card promos are taking shape across both content and growth strategies. While seller onboarding and HNS Chat are quiet this week, new traction in marketing and investment could unlock the next phase of adoption. Let’s keep building—on-chain, on-brand, and just getting started.

This past week at Hamza Labs, we’ve continued to build on recent progress with a mix of live feature launches, marketing momentum, and backend cleanups. With Bitcoin payments now active, we’re focusing on fine-tuning user experience and laying the groundwork for community and campaign expansion. Let’s walk through the latest updates across the platform.

Cross-Chain & Bitcoin Payments

The dev team released version 1.3.3, marking another milestone for crypto usability on Hamza. Bitcoin is now officially a selectable currency at checkout, and for the first time, users can choose their currency without needing to log in—removing an important friction point. Additionally, a payment cancellation feature has been developed (though not yet released), providing greater control over transactions. No obstacles were encountered, and while no major new features are planned in the short term, the team will continue rolling out small improvements over the next few weeks.

Discount Codes

Discount codes have reached the testing stage and are close to functional deployment. However, a live use case—such as an affiliate partner—is needed to validate its utility in the wild. A final necessary feature is being added and is scheduled for early next week, after which the feature can be actively used to incentivize purchases and seller promotions.

Seller Onboarding – Dev Team

No new development work was required this week on seller onboarding, as the system is considered nearly complete. All that remains is onboarding one more seller to fully test and transition this module into long-term maintenance. Once that happens, the flow will be formally closed as ready.

Homepage Improvement

Work on homepage enhancements officially began, with Chris leading the front-end implementation of Luciano’s designs. The improvements are on a two-week sprint with a release target set for July 1. This redesign aims to improve both the visual hierarchy and user journey, helping users discover and purchase products more intuitively.

HNS Chat

There was no movement this week on the HNS Chat system, but internal planning is still underway. The goal is to begin onboarding sellers into the branded chat system by July 1, enabling more decentralized, identity-based interaction directly on the platform.

Seller Onboarding – Customer Support

Jose successfully onboarded Global From Asia, who is now live on the platform. No issues or blockers were reported, and support is standing by for the next wave of sellers. With both GFA and The Living Crystal active, the onboarding workflow is becoming smoother and more predictable.

Venezuela Campaign

No new updates were reported on the Venezuela campaign this week. While foundational work has been set in previous weeks, future plans for improving market penetration may hinge on a more active content and ad strategy—especially in a region where crypto use is rising but visibility remains limited.

Decom Talks (YouTube & Twitter Spaces)

Jose continued building out content for the Hamza ecosystem with a new 6-minute YouTube video titled “What Will Happen When Bitcoin Hits $1 Million?”, along with an engaging YouTube Short that complements it. Both are now live on the channel. Additionally, a Web3 Samurai-themed Short was briefly posted but taken down out of caution due to potential copyright concerns. A revised version is being edited and will be republished next week.

Investment Search

Mike progressed to the final round of discussions with the W3BX Incubator in Vietnam and is currently awaiting their reply. He also engaged in new advisory discussions around defining a refined role at Hamza to support product-market fit, and shared insights during a talk with the RektSurvivor group on Friday. The investment arm continues to gain traction, aligning strategic funding with operational priorities.

Dealmaker

No movement was made this week on the Dealmaker project, which has been placed on temporary hold. This track may resume once priority features and community growth strategies are further along.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition / Management

Anne’s growth initiatives delivered meaningful results this week, particularly through the publication of the blog post How Decentralized E-Commerce Ships, which led to a 65% increase in user acquisition (364 users). The article was paired with an email campaign introducing new sellers like The Living Crystal and Global From Asia.

Most of the social traffic came organically from X, Facebook, and Instagram. Meanwhile, Hamza’s X Ads account is still undergoing verification in the Shadstone Ads group. Anne is building campaigns on Zealy to grow community engagement.

SEO Improvement

SEO work led by Chris Li has now entered maintenance mode. Core technical enhancements, including schema implementation and sitemap improvements, have been completed. Any future additions or changes will be handled as needed. With the foundation in place, ongoing SEO benefits should begin compounding in the weeks ahead.

Conclusion

The week of June 22–28 brought visible growth in product maturity, community content, and acquisition performance. With Bitcoin payments live, discount tools nearly ready, and traffic increasing through organic channels, Hamza is entering a stage of steady momentum. The focus ahead remains on fine-tuning UX, activating incentive-driven campaigns, and amplifying our story to both crypto-native and mainstream audiences. ⛵

This week marks significant progress across multiple fronts at Hamza Labs as we continue building the future of decentralized commerce. Our development team successfully launched Bitcoin payments and made substantial improvements to our payment infrastructure, while our content and marketing efforts gained impressive traction with over 900 views on our latest Spanish-language content. Key highlights include advancing discount code testing, preparing homepage improvements for implementation, and expanding our outreach efforts across investment opportunities and community engagement.

Cross-chain & Bitcoin Payments

The development team achieved a major milestone this week with the successful launch of Bitcoin payments on June 10th. Bitcoin has now been integrated as a principal, choosable currency option, with the currency selection feature set to launch next week before login. The team also addressed various bugs and implemented improvements to enhance the overall payment experience. With no current obstacles blocking progress, the Bitcoin payment system represents a significant step forward in our cross-chain payment capabilities.

Discount Codes

Testing for the discount code feature has begun in collaboration with Jose, marking solid progress toward this customer-friendly feature. The testing phase is proceeding smoothly without any reported obstacles, and the team expects to complete testing within the next week. This feature will provide additional flexibility for both sellers and buyers on the platform.

Homepage Improvement

Chris has completed the design phase for homepage improvements, positioning the project for implementation to begin next week. With the design finalized and no obstacles in the way, this initiative will enhance user experience and platform aesthetics. The implementation timeline is set for the upcoming week, promising visible improvements to the platform’s front-end.

VZ Campaign

Jose has been actively engaging with community members in the Hamza Spanish Telegram group, exploring opportunities for future videos and events to boost Hamza’s social media presence. This community engagement led to the creation of a Spanish-language YouTube video addressing how Hamza serves as an important tool for individuals seeking to obtain or spend cryptocurrency in an increasingly regulated world. The content specifically touches on current events in Venezuela, including government crackdowns on black market dollar trade. The campaign has already generated impressive results, with the main video and accompanying short accumulating over 900 views.

Decom Talks (Twitter Spaces)

Jose produced substantial video content this week, including a 12:30-minute Spanish-language video titled “What would happen if Bitcoin reaches $1 million” aimed at the Latin American community, along with an accompanying YouTube short published on Thursday, June 12th. An English version targeting English-speaking audiences has been filmed and is currently in post-production for release. Both videos explore scenarios where Bitcoin becomes the world’s leading asset and governments respond with heavy crypto regulation, positioning web3 non-KYC tools like Hamza as invaluable resources. Additionally, a lighter one-minute promotional short for Hamza is being prepared for weekend release.

Investment Search

Mike made significant progress on multiple investment fronts this week, following up with two Vietnam incubators and drafting an application for the Near Protocol AI agent program. He attended Bitcoin meetups to network with potential partners and met with investment consultants to assess current market conditions. While the lack of an alt season presents ongoing challenges, the team plans to submit the Near Protocol application next week, maintaining momentum in the investment search process.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition/Management

The acquisition efforts showed strong momentum this week with the distribution of a third BTC payment email and smooth social media management requiring minimal quality control time. The team is developing blog creation AI automation and working on a weekly acquisition tracking table. With no reported obstacles, the focus remains on ensuring all social media channels, including web3 platforms, are established with proper content calendars to support consistent engagement.

SEO Improvement

Chris Li successfully launched SEO improvements on June 10th, enhancing the platform’s search visibility and organic reach. With no obstacles reported and improvements now live, this initiative supports broader discoverability and user acquisition efforts.

Conclusion

This week demonstrated Hamza Labs’ continued momentum across technical development, content creation, and business development. The successful Bitcoin payment launch represents a major technical achievement, while our content efforts are generating significant community engagement with over 900 views on Spanish-language content alone. With homepage improvements ready for implementation, discount codes entering final testing, and investment applications in progress, we’re building solid foundations for sustainable growth. The combination of technical progress, community engagement, and strategic outreach positions us well for continued expansion in the decentralized commerce space.

June kicked off with strong momentum across our product, marketing, and community efforts. From launching key infrastructure like Bitcoin payments to expanding seller onboarding and experimenting with high-performing content, the Hamza team continues to build with focus and adaptability. Here’s a full rundown of this week’s highlights and what’s coming next.

Cross-Chain & Bitcoin Payments

The development team has finalized quality assurance, resolved bugs, and polished the user experience in preparation for the launch of Bitcoin payments. Everything is on track, and the official rollout is scheduled for June 10. With this, Hamza users will be able to make cross-chain payments and use Bitcoin at checkout—broadening both accessibility and adoption.

Discount Codes

Work has progressed on the new discount codes system, and the team has mapped out the user acceptance testing (UAT) plan. Testing will begin on Monday next week, with no current blockers. This feature will give sellers more flexibility in promoting their products and attracting conversions through customized pricing incentives.

Seller Onboarding – Dev Team

Onboarding functionality has taken major steps forward. Jose completed testing and approved the system, successfully onboarding The Living Crystal via the admin panel. A few bugs were discovered in the product and variant upload flow, but they’ve already been addressed. Once retesting confirms stability, this module will move to maintenance mode.

Homepage Improvement

Homepage design improvements are in motion, with Chris receiving the latest visual designs from Luciano. Implementation will begin the week of June 16, focusing on enhancing usability and visual clarity to improve conversion and engagement.

HNS Chat

The newly branded HNS Chat experience has been launched, including improved onboarding utilities for sellers. This upgraded version provides a more integrated communication layer within the Hamza ecosystem. Additional improvements are planned for the following week to further refine the interface and expand seller functionality.

Seller Onboarding – Customer Support

Jose has supported the onboarding of The Living Crystal and Global From Asia using the seller admin panel. While GFA’s main wallet address is still awaiting verification, The Living Crystal is nearly ready for the final onboarding step. Once technical bugs are resolved, the CS team will guide sellers through the remaining protocol.

Venezuela Campaign

Jose has been pushing forward on seller engagement in Venezuela. A community member from the Venezuela Telegram group successfully completed a test purchase and started store setup. However, buyer growth remains a challenge. Jose plans to consult with Mike, John, and Anne about launching paid ads on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to boost visibility. He’ll also reach out to logistics provider Air Ocean Import to explore a door-to-door delivery partnership from China to Venezuela—seen as critical for building buyer confidence.

Decom Talks (Twitter Spaces)

Two new short-form Decom videos were published on YouTube last week, including a humorous 30-second “bad singing” video that gained over 1,200 views. This format appears to resonate well with viewers, and Jose will continue creating content in this style. Once The Living Crystal’s store is fully operational, Decom Talks will feature a dedicated segment to highlight their product and onboarding journey.

Investment Search

Mike continued the search for strategic funding opportunities. This week, he applied to the Web3X incubator and held discussions with another incubator to understand their requirements. Progress with Yellow and ProBit is pending updates to KYB documentation, which is currently being processed.

Dealmaker

The dealmaker track focused on leveraging warm contacts this week rather than cold outreach. This relationship-first approach is expected to yield more meaningful conversations. Momentum is expected to pick up in the coming week as Mike reconnects with additional partners.

Buyer and Seller Acquisition/Management

Marketing efforts delivered solid results this week. Anne reported that the second Bitcoin-focused blog post and email campaign helped double traffic and user sessions. Engagement is also increasing on X, YouTube, and Facebook, though more strategic effort is needed to drive purchases from both crypto-native and Web2 audiences. On the organic side, “Hamza Market” is now beginning to rank in search engines. Anne is also reviewing other platforms as a possible tool for engagement boosts and may recommend reallocating part of the ad budget based on findings.

SEO Improvement

Chris Li wrapped up key SEO technical improvements this week. The updated robots.txt file and sitemap.xml have been completed, and schema markup for product detail pages is done. Work continues on implementing organization and item list schema, expected to finish next week. Once complete, the sitemap will be submitted to Google Search Console for indexing, improving Hamza’s search visibility.

Conclusion

This week’s progress reflects strong alignment between product, marketing, and growth goals. With Bitcoin payments launching, seller onboarding maturing, and content engagement climbing, Hamza is moving closer to product-market fit. As we continue expanding seller tools, refining user experience, and experimenting with market-specific campaigns, the focus remains on turning curiosity into conversion—and building an ecosystem that works for both buyers and sellers in Web3.
